Purple Lights is a design and fabrication company based in Jersey City that brings more than thirty years of experience to custom-built environments across the New York City area. Despite its deep expertise, the company lacked a cohesive visual identity that matched the quality and personality of its work. I was hired to design a new logo, build a refreshed color palette, and create business cards and merch concepts that would give the brand a more distinctive and polished presence.
Working closely with the founder, I developed a bold logo supported by a retro-inspired color palette that feels nostalgic while still modern and professional. We explored vintage tones and playful accents that reflected the company’s creative personality without compromising clarity or usability. I extended the system into practical applications through business cards and merchandise concepts that showcased how the brand could show up in the real world. The final identity stands out for its character and originality while aligning with Purple Lights’ decades of experience.
