For Season 6 of Netflix’s Queer Eye, I was hired by the show’s producers to create visuals for Reggie DeVore, also known as BlackLight, a Texas rapper featured in the season finale. The episode followed his journey back into music after the pandemic, and the team needed a refreshed identity that would support his live performance and represent him confidently on screen. My role was to update his logo and design a concert poster and merchandise that felt true to his style while matching the energy of a major Netflix production.
Working on a tight turnaround, I delivered the updated logo, a full concert poster, and merchandise designs in under forty-eight hours. These pieces were featured in the finale, and the logo was used on items handed out at the event. The final visuals helped give Reggie a polished and professional presence during his comeback performance and contributed to the high-impact atmosphere that closed out the season.
